Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017: GATE 2017 is organizing by IIT Roorkee for the Admission to Postgraduate Courses (Master's and Doctrol) with MHRD and other government Scholarships Assistantships in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science are open to those who qualify in GATE. GATE is not only for admission in Postgraduate courses it is also helpful to get a job in such organizations like IOCL, BPCL, NTPC and some more companies offers a job for GATE qualify candidates.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by IISc and IITs has emerged as one of the bench mark tests for engineering and science aptitude in facilitating admissions for higher education (M.Tech./Ph.D.) in IITs, IISc and various other Institutes/Universities/Laboratories in India. With the standard and high quality of the GATE examination in 23 disciplines of engineering and science subjects, it identifies the candidate’s understanding of a subject and aptitude and eligibility for higher studies.
GATE is one of the opportunities to make career advancement, and certainly not the only one. GATE examination provides with a GATE score to all qualified candidates, which is valid for three years, but does not take any responsibility of admission of any candidate to any Institute.
Please note that the eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria for applying for the post. The candidates are advised to submit Application well in advance without waiting for the closing date.
GATE 2017 Admission Notification Details:
Eligibility Criteria:1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology (4 Years or 3 Years course after Diploma in Engineering or Technology).
2. Bachelors degree in Architecture (5 Years course)
3. Bachelors Degree in Science (4 Years Course)
4. Masters degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications.
5. Masters degree in Post-B.Sc (4 Years Course)
6. Master degree or Dual degree in Engineering or Technology (5 Years Course)
7. M.Sc or B.Sc (5 Years Integrated Course)
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay the application in online only through net banking or e-challan.
SC/ST/PWD/Women: Rs.750/-
Others: Rs.1,500/-
How To Apply: Candidates are required to fill the application in Online only no other process will be accepted
Exam Pattern: Examinations for all the papers shall be conducted in Online mode only as Computer Based Test (CBT)
